I am SWAMPED! I have an abundance of things to do and no time to do them in. Perhaps you are thinking that I should, therefore, not be wasting my time on my blog, but I am using this post as a tool to focus my writing, so that I can get to my task at hand.
Very recently, I have decided to graduate a year early, and this fabulous idea that I had has created absolute havoc in my normally highly-organized way of life. I banked on the notion that I had at least a year to organize myself for the future, but I have taken a leap of faith that is kicking my ass. Deadlines to submit applications to publishing companies are fast approaching, and I don't even have a game plan.
So much to do, and yet I am constantly finding myself doing other things such as baking cookies and cleaning out my closet (I have bags upon bags of clothing that I am getting rid of FYI if anyone is in need of some new wardrobe items.) I am determined that this weekend will be the weekend that I sit at my table and do nothing but focus on the future. This was my plan for the past two weekends, so I assume that third time's the charm, and I will actually get something accomplished. Wish me luck!
